Hi, I’m Resad, the developer of this bot. I created it because I was looking for a bot like this, so I decided to build it myself! This project is a labor of passion and persistence, built to help Discord users effortlessly track YouTube channel statistics in real-time.

In 2020, I started working on the bot, focusing on the core functionality. However, like any developer’s journey, I hit some roadblocks and eventually lost momentum. That’s when a close friend stepped in. They saw potential in my work, encouraged me, and reignited my motivation.
With renewed energy, I revisited the project in 2021. After refining the features and addressing the rough edges, I launched a polished version. From that point onward, I dedicated myself to improving the bot based on user feedback.
Driven by the Community
One of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been the incredible feedback from users. In 2022 I created a support server where users could share their experiences, suggest improvements, and report bugs. This collaborative effort has made YT Stats Bot what it is today—a tool that empowers Discord communities, creators, and fans alike.

When I started, the bot was hosted using free methods. However, as its popularity grew and it began serving more servers than I ever imagined, I realized the limitations of free hosting. Today, YT Stats Bot operates on a paid server to handle its increased demand and ensure reliable performance.
As a student studying cybersecurity, committing to monthly server expenses was a significant decision for me. Today, YouTube Stats Bot is trusted by 4,500+ servers and continues to grow, helping communities stay informed about their favorite YouTube channels.
